From The Fallen:

“How are we getting to London?”

He smirked. “Don’t worry your pretty little head.  I have been doing this for much longer than you have.”

“I’ll add patronizing to the list of things I hate about you,” I growled

Oops…life does get away from you.

45. Most disappointing film adaptation?

If I said, an angry mob might chase after me with pitchforks.  For my own safety, I will refrain from answering.

46. The most money I’ve ever spent in the bookstore at one time?

$140 when Borders was going out of business.  Many were 90% off.  I am more of a low dollar amount, but often person.

47. How often do you skim a book before reading it?

Only if I am reading it for academic reasons.

48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through?

Sometimes I just get busy and put it down.  If I don’t like it enough to return to it, it sits on my dresser with the bookmark forever.  Other times, I just don’t like the characters or the book is not professionally edited.

49. Do you like to keep your books organized?

Yes, by genre and size and color.

Happy Friday! It’s the weekend! Woohoo!

34. Books you’re most likely to bring on vacation?
Young Adult—always

35. The longest you’ve gone without reading.
For pleasure?  Five years.  I know!  I went through a period of being really burned out on all reading.  But you have to consider how many student papers I read per year.

36. Name a book that you could/would not finish.
I prefer not to say.  Again, I don’t like to bash other authors.  I did however throw a YA book across the room in disgust.  The next day I sold it at the used book store.  I am baffled by its popularity.  I pushed through 60 pages and couldn’t go on.

37. What distracts you easily when you’re reading?
My kids

38. Favorite film adaptation of a novel?
The Princess Bride
and the BBC Pride and Prejudice

From Ms. Woods’ Tumblr:

Short and sweet today. For those of you freaking out about the lack of Joshua, here you go:
I wasn’t sure what he was going to do for a moment, and then he kissed me—fiercely.
